Kisma Stepanich

The Faery-Faith Network was founded by Kisma K. Stepanich~Reidling in 1994 as a worldwide forum for believers in the Sidhe, Faery-fairy-faerie, lovers of Ireland, and individuals interested in undergoing spiritual training..

At an early age, Kisma was visited by the Faery, or shall we say, the Otherworld interacted with her, swarming into her bedroom at night as dancing balls of colored light. Thus, her journey with the mystical started. At the age of seven, during her solitary playtime, Kisma would pretend that she was Mother Nature as teacher. Her school was held in the forest, under a grove of trees, and her students were the fairy and elves.

Kisma’s patrilineage is Romanian Gypsy. Her father’s father traveled in caravan with their tribe, leaving Romania after World World I and migrating first to Russia, where her grandfather, Mikael, was forced into the Russian Army. He and his wife defected to America, where they became “settlers” in Nebraska, thus no longer “travelers”. After moving to Wyoming, the Stepanich family became horse ranchers and tamed the wild mustangs for the US Calvary.

Kisma was born on July 4, 1958 at 1:36 PM in Santa Ana, California; the third child to Betty and Al Stepanich. Her older sister is Debbie Ann, and her brother is Hal J.

Author of thirteen published books, including the Faery Wicca Tarot, Kisma has written three fantasy novels The Last Matriarch, Faery With Teeth: Book One of the Faery Chronicles and Oceans Of Time, with her fourth novel — Children Of The Stars, the third in the Faery Chronicles novel series, scheduled for a Fall 2008 release.

Today, Kisma lives in Newport Beach, California, with her husband, the scientist and surfer, Jack Reidling, and their son, Tristan Shane.
